Learn about SOLS, IT and get important tips from students to help you settle into life as a UOW student
Teachers
Your Lecturers, Subject Coordinators and Tutors are skilled in your discipline area, and will be key in helping you learn as you progress through your degree.
You can expect:

- Explanations of subject requirements in subject outlines
- Learning challenges to help you progress
Librarians
Librarians are skilled in connecting you with the information you need, and assisting you with search strategies so that you can search independently.
You can expect:
- Help online, over the phone and in person
- Guidance with accessing readings and other information resources
- Recommendations for good quality, subject specific resources

The Learning Co-op
The Learning Co-Op is a partnership between the Library, Learning Development, Peer Learning and UOW College staff. It contains learning resources and connects you with services to help you hit your academic targets. You can find support with:
- Understanding your assessment task
- Finding resources
- Using Turnitin
- Referencing
- Academic writing and plagiarism
Other support

- Support Services Contact any one of the amazing teams of people who are here to support you and help you succeed at UOW.
- PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) offer student support groups for developing effective study strategies. Check to see if there is a Pass Program, or Peer Assisted Study Sessions, linked to your subject. PASS programs are a great way to get together with fellow students and discuss your subject's learning outcomes.
- Clubs & Societies are there for you to join, and meet people that share similar interests. They help you create social and professional networks
